Our Story
Some friendships are forged over fire — ours just happened to come with a kick of chilli and a handful of flavoured cashews.
We’re Lee and Scott, two food-loving friends from Southampton who bonded over a shared obsession with bold flavours, spice-laden sauces, and the kind of snacks that disappear from the bowl far too quickly. What started as a few homemade hot sauces and spiced nut experiments in a tiny kitchen quickly turned into a passion — after one too many 'you should seriously sell this' comments from friends, we decided to stop just talking and start doing. That’s when 405 Chilee Company was born — an artisan food brand dedicated to crafting small-batch chilli sauces and seriously addictive flavoured cashews, made by hand, with heart, in the heart of Southampton.
